Can you believe it’s already been five years of Eat Live Love San Fernando Valley? What started as a simple idea — to spotlight local restaurants and tell the stories behind them — has become a full-blown movement celebrating the food, people, and community that make the San Fernando Valley one of the most special corners of Los Angeles.
Over the past five years, Eat Live Love SFV has filmed more than 130 episodes, featuring everything from cozy mom-and-pop restaurants to viral local favorites. We’ve seen kitchen chaos, heartwarming owner stories, spontaneous laughter, and even a few unexpected surprises along the way (including a car crash mid-shoot — yes, that really happened). But more than anything, we’ve seen how food connects people, how it brings neighborhoods together, and how one small act of support can help a local business thrive.
A Celebration of Local Flavor
Each episode has highlighted the incredible diversity of cuisine that exists right here in the Valley. From sizzling shawarma and juicy burgers to delicate sushi and decadent donuts, Eat Live Love has explored it all. And in this special 5-year anniversary episode, we’re revisiting some of our most memorable spots — and hearing directly from the owners whose stories touched our hearts.
More Than Just Food
Of course, Eat Live Love SFV has never just been about the meals. It’s about the people behind them — the families, the dreamers, the chefs, and the communities they serve. Throughout the years, we’ve shared their challenges, triumphs, and passions. From cultural festivals like the Greek Festival (where Scott even joined in the dancing!) to Día de los Muertos celebrations and family-run restaurants across the Valley, every story has reinforced the same truth: the San Fernando Valley is overflowing with heart.
Looking Ahead
As we celebrate this milestone, it’s impossible not to feel grateful — for the restaurants that welcomed us into their kitchens, the viewers who watched and shared, and the community that continues to show up for local businesses. The next five years promise even more hidden gems, crazy stories, and delicious discoveries waiting to be told.
So here’s to another chapter of Eat Live Love San Fernando Valley — a celebration of food, community, and connection that keeps the Valley’s spirit alive one bite at a time.
