Where can you find Chinese fast food in the West Valley? Today on Eat Live Love San Fernando Valley, we’re at Lucky Panda in Woodland Hills. Let’s get to it.
Cindy, it’s great to be here.
Nice to meet you, Scott.
All right, so tell me a little bit about Lucky Panda. You guys have been here for a while here in Woodland Hills.
Yeah, we’ve been here for over a decade and it was family-owned business. My husband and I run this business, and he’s been cooking and making all the ingredients. Oh, he’s a chef over 25 years. And we are very happy in this neighborhood. The most people are very nice.
So Lucky Panda. I know it’s Chinese fast food, but what does that really entail and kind of what are some of the most popular items that the, that people like?
We have very good orange chicken like beef broccoli, teriyaki chicken. It’s kind of the famous one.
Cindy explain, how do you guys make your wonton soup? What type of ingredients are, are in it?
Wonton Soup make with the mixed vegetable. They have broccoli, squash, cabbage and a little carrot and mushroom and come with me. It was the chicken and shrimp and the wonton we make in the house inside has the chicken too. It’s the most popular soup and very low carb. So it’s a good one.
Well, love it. All right. Well, I can’t wait to see how you guys do it. Let’s go back in the kitchen, and see how you make everything.
Okay guys, so I have a few plates in front of me here at the Lucky Panda. So you got the one item combo with the beef broccoli and the chow mein and rice. Of course, you got the two item, the combo with the orange chicken and the Kung Pao chicken, again with chow mein and rice, and the wonton soup with chicken and shrimp. So you know, at the end of the day, there’s a ton of different options for whatever you’re looking for. It runs the gamut here. Whatever type of Chinese food you might be in search of.
I’m going to start off with a little bit of the Kung Pao chicken. You guys know I love spice, so let’s try that. Definitely some kick on, behind that, but not overwhelming, really good. And the orange chicken. Hands down, the orange chicken always is always my kids’ favorite here at Lucky Panda. All right, try a little bit of the wonton soup. Try to get a little bit of everything. Very filling, very hearty. This is something that’s perfect on a cold winter day. A lot of flavor in this soup. And finally, last but not least, we got the beef broccoli.
Guys, if you’re looking for some Chinese fast food then you need to come down to Lucky Panda. They’re in Woodland Hills. Make sure you check them out. They’re located on the corner of Victory and Fallbrook. They’re on the Southwest corner in a little strip mall. So come and support these guys. They’ve been here for over a decade, so come out and support these guys.
