We have a special treat for you today. We’re at Bodega Malbec in Toluca Lake to check out my favorite Argentinian food in the Valley. I recently met with owner Javier Pardini to talk about Bodega Malbec, its history, and what they have on the menu right now.

The concept is an old bodega-style Argentinian dining room where a wood-fired grill fills the air with the mouth-watering scent of grilled meat and more. Bodega Malbec serves delicious beef, fish, pasta, tapas, and more. With a fantastic wine selection and family-style dining, Javier has created a fun, inviting atmosphere for diners of all ages.

Javier and manager Rodrigo joined me for my taste test of the beef and spinach empanadas, grilled salmon, pasta bolognese, a NY strip with papas fritas (french fries), and some fantastic wines.
