In today’s episode of Eat Live Love San Fernando Valley, Scott checks out one of the newest food trucks in the San Fernando Valley – Bomb Burger! They serve the mouth watering and delicious stuffed burger called a Juicy Lucy.
Nick, the owner, shares its humble beginnings on how he used to work in a restaurant washing dishes and moving all the way up to management. He put together all his burger recipes and started Bomb Burger with just one 1 grill, one tent and no lights at night. From there, he upgraded the menu, got more tables and chairs as customers came just from word-of-mouth.
So what is a Juicy Lucy? It is a thick, juicy American patty stuffed with cheese cooked on a flat griddle. The effect: it is crisp on the outside and oozing with cheese on the inside. To top it all, it is garnished with grilled onions, thousand islands and pickles. This is surely a recipe that deserves your 5-star recommendation!
